Western Chef’s Knife 7” — Redwood Burl & Copper

$260.00 Sale Save

The 7” Western chef’s knife is a great size for home cooks and professionals alike. Gone are the days where 10 & 12” chef’s knives are the standard. Safety, control, ease of sharpening, and economy of space all inform the design of this modern classic.

The blade bevel is ground in a high rounded sabre, (nearly a flat grind). This gives the durability and cutting consistency of the sabre grind while rounding off the hard edges at the second bevel allowing for easier slicing.

Blade: 1/8” thick. 7” long. 01 carbon tool steel. High, rounded sabre grind.

Handle: Stabilized redwood burl. Solid copper pins and lanyard tube. 4.25” long.

Sheath: (OPTIONAL) Natural veg-tanned, 8-9 oz leather from Hermann Oak American tannery. Hand stitched with waxed linen thread. Solid copper snap closure.

Package: This knife comes with a 1/2 oz tin of leather conditioner (with sheath purchase), and a 1/2 oz bottle of blade oil (if carbon steel).
